Verily, he is the Son of God (or FDR, I guess)
In the same theme as Kevin, here's a few fun links on Obama:
Obama: 'I Chose My Friends Carefully... The Marxist Professors and Structural Feminists'
Supporters can't name one thing Obama did while in office
All the fanaticism surrounding Obama scares me, to say the least. I find his views on economics troubling, for obvious reasons. He has strong ties to the largest group in America that advocates socialism (Democratic Socialists of America) and his healthcare 'plan' is laughable. Anti-war and anti-PATRIOT ACT? Really?
'Voted YES on reauthorizing the PATRIOT Act. (Mar 2006)'
I guess none of this surprises me, but that doesn't stop it from disappointing me. People don't want candidates that have a clear and realistic plan for the country. They want candidates that promise them a better life (free healthcare, schools, crime-free life, no war) at the cost of the 'government' who should stoop to the level of the common man. For some reason, people can't equate 'government' with 'inefficiently used tax dollars open to corrupt bureaucrats.'
