Call of Duty: Still Awesome

Call of Duty 4 is absolutely amazing. The campaign is outstanding, the graphics are unbelievable, the gameplay is great, and the controls are as good as before. Multiplayer is even better now, giving you multiple different modes to play in - Domination is my favorite (holding down certain points - think of it as multi-point King of the Hill).

The best part about multiplayer are the “hardcore” servers. In this mode, you don’t have a HUD - you need to memorize what you start with, how many grenades/C4/RPGs you have left, how much ammo you have, and what weapons you come equipped with. It’s also frustratingly hard, which is fairly realistic, and as you progress through your ranks by gaining experience, you unlock new accessories for your weapons (just unlocked the red dot sight for my SMG of choice - the MP5) or new weapons altogether (M21 sniper rifle, for example).

Call of Duty 4 exceeds even my expectations, and that’s saying one hell of a lot. Go buy it.
