Dealing with loss

It has only been in the past two days that I have really begun to think about my future outside of Seattle. I would say that most of my identity was formed here - my life has changed so much since I decided to come here almost two years ago to be with Trida. When I think about my future three thousand miles from here, without Trida, I really begin to understand that it would be the end of a major journey for me, concluding in what could only be interpreted as a failure.

New Theme; Lifting Goals

If imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, then the guys at YourHRGuy must be happy. I really like this new theme, and I'll be playing with it a bunch over the next few days to personalize it more, so I appreciate your patience while I temporarily break my website. Baseball Delusions will probably keep the old theme - I'll be updating that blog more as baseball becomes more relevant, but since my winter league is over, I haven't been doing much except off-season workouts with the high school team and keeping in shape myself.

Call of Duty: Still Awesome

Call of Duty 4 is absolutely amazing. The campaign is outstanding, the graphics are unbelievable, the gameplay is great, and the controls are as good as before. Multiplayer is even better now, giving you multiple different modes to play in - Domination is my favorite (holding down certain points - think of it as multi-point King of the Hill).

Indians News, Pirates News

The Indians are reportedly interested in Jason Bay. Rumors out of Pittsburgh say that they want OF-Trevor Crowe and SP-Chuck Lofgren. Crowe and Lofgren project to be league-average players, with Crowe being the slightly better prospect. Both should make it to the show, but neither are projected to be stars. Jason Bay is a star fallen from grace, turning in a year with 43 less walks and 14 less bombs.
