Stuff for sale (cat charity edition)

Hey everyone. I’m selling a bunch of stuff for two major reasons:

1) My ex-girlfriend’s cat (that I adopted with her when we were together) was sick and had surgery to remove a foreign body from her intestines so she could go on eating and resuming normal daily functions. This cost a few thousand dollars, and my ex is a cashier at the Gap, so she can’t really afford it. As such, I’m selling a bunch of things in my apartment to help raise some money for the medical bills (she and I are still friends, and I like the cat).

2) I really gotta clean out my apartment.

Anyway, there’s some pretty awesome stuff for sale at good prices. All proceeds go to the cat’s bills, so if you feel so inclined, donations are accepted as well.

(No bullshitting, here’s a picture of the cat in question:)

For reference, here’s a picture of my cat:

She’s fine, thanks for asking.

But I digress. On to the stuff for sale! I live in Lake City and I’m available in the evenings and weekends, but I have an office downtown (Westin Building), so I can bring the stuff down there if you’re interested in picking it up there. If you are reading this from my blog or LJ and want to buy over the Internet, I can take Paypal or poker site money (preferably PokerStars) and I’ll ship out the smaller stuff.

Verizon Treo 700w. It’s pretty beat up, but still functional. It might need a new battery since it’s acting weird (random restarts once a day or so), but it works - I migrated it to my Verizon plan but ended up switching back to my Motorola Q. Comes with the AC adapter (not pictured, sorry). $95 OBO.

Playstation 2 w/ disk-eject modchip (Swapmagic variety), memory card, controller, AV cables + AC cable, Guncon, Time Crisis 1-2, Crisis Zone, DDR Supernova, and a bunch of…backed up games that may or may not include DDR MAX 2, DDR MAX, DDR 5th Mix, DDR Oha Star (and most other DDR mixes actually), Final Fantasy X, Soulcaliber 2, Guitar Freaks, and many many others. Includes Guitar Freaks controller. Pretty awesome setup, especially since the Playstation 3 sucks. Check out the IIdx controller and Cobalt Flux pads as well in this listing. I’ll cut you a deal if you want it all. $150 OBO.

Official JPN/US BEMANI IIdx Beatmania controller from Lik-Sang (RIP). No stuck buttons, works very well. $50 OBO. (sorry, had to use a stock photo)

Blue 4GB iPod Nano 2nd gen w/ black armband + brand new earbuds, docking adapter, and USB cable (just bought a 3g and I’m giving you the new accessories from it) - $89 OBO. Works great. If you would rather have a pair of Sony-style street headphones, I will throw them in for $5. Scheduled to be sold to an LJ user on Monday.

Cobalt Flux Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) / In the Groove (ITG) / Pump it Up (PIU) pad, like new and never used w/ PS2 adapter - $170 OBO. Never used pad that is extremely durable and is bar-none the best dancing simulation pad with lexan windows and heavy-duty construction. Bought, unsealed, and never used in my apartment. http://www.cobaltflux.com/ for more information on this awesome product. Sold to Justin.

Dell Axim x51v PDA in like-new condition (barely used) - $195 OBO. 624 Mhz, 64 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, PXA270 processor, 802.11b WiFi and Bluetooth, Headphone/Headset jack with integrated microphone, 64 MB SD card INCLUDED, 3.7″ color display, working and fully-charged battery, cradle + AC Adapter and PDA adapter INCLUDED. No software/CD included but it is available for download from dell.com.

Cobalt Blue Game Boy Advanced with AC Adapter (in pretty good shape), $50 OBO.

Flat screen Insignia TV. Looks to be 15″. Includes a possibly-working DVD player that I got for $10 from Newegg and all cables. Barely used, in great shape. $70 OBO.

Original Xbox with S-controller, DVD remote, and Communicator. Does not include a headset or A/V cables. One of my cats chewed through the wires. Not sure which one, but it probably was not the cat that had surgery, if that makes you feel any better about buying it. Comes with a copy of Halo 2 and Fable. $70 OBO.

XBox 360 stock headset. Unused. I stupidly bought a Plantronics headset when I didn’t realize I already had this one. $5.

TI-92 graphing calculator. This thing is old-school, and I’m depressed that they don’t make it anymore (some Voyager 500 model is the replacement). This thing is so badass they banned it from use on the SAT and ACT. Don’t settle for some wimpy TI-83 Plus for your kid - buy this thing. Does Z-graphing and all that other crap that I repressed (namely Calculus II+ and Diff. Eq. in college). Comes with 4 fresh AA batteries. $55 OBO. Sold to an LJ user (thomasblair).

XFX AGP GeForce 6600 256 MB RAM Video card. Comes in box but no drivers (download the newest ones anyway). $20 OBO. Scheduled to be sold to an LJ user on Monday.

Netgear wireless router (WPN824) with 4 wired ports and MIMO technology, 802.11g compatible (obviously backwards-compatible with a/b). Works well, upgraded to the latest firmware, comes with AC adapter. $20 OBO. Scheduled to be sold to a Craigslist user on Monday.

Netgear 10/100 Ethernet switch. New in box. $10 OBO.

Dell Latitude CPx J750GT laptop. Pentium III 750 Mhz, 128 MB RAM, 8 MB video, CD-RW drive, 3com PCMCIA card (no ethernet adapter though, probably can find one at the local computer tech store for $5), 6 GB HD, AC Adapter, Windows 2000 with anti-virus installed. Battery doesn’t hold a charge (unsurprisingly) but it can work as a basic station. Don’t jiggle it around too much or Windows will lock up. Hey, this thing is like 35 years old. Just format it and put a *nix distro on it as a file server or something. $50 OBO.

Various poker books. Want to learn to play poker? Check out these awesome books by 2+2 publishing (as well as others). The vaunted Super System book, written by Doyle Brunson et. al, Sklansky/Malmuth’s Theory of Poker, Texas Hold ‘em Poker for Advanced Players (Sklansky/Malmuth), Tournament Poker for Advanced Players (Sklansky), and others. $10 each, $25 for three.

2 Mini-USB earbuds for use with Blackberry phones and others that support, well, mini-USB. $5 each. Unused.

Bonjour Wine opener. This thing is pretty awesome, but as a single guy who works 70 hours a week, I simply don’t use it. Plus, I was trained to use a real wine opener when I was a server at an Italian restaurant, so this is like cheating to me. Barely used, comes in the original packaging with “instructions.” $20 OBO.
