I installed Bioshock and played it for about an hour or so. It's okay, but not great, certainly not nearly as good as all the reviews would lead you to believe. Sure, the graphics are nice and the plasmids are a neat touch, but what's so different between the Doom 3-style “scary” moments and this? Not much. The gameplay is not all that unique, unless you consider constrained inventory space forcing decisions “unique.”
Halo 3 was released (if you hadn't noticed) and I'll probably go buy that to play online. I'd really like a modded Xbox/Xbox 360, but all the no-solder modchips are sold out online, and I don't have the softmod instructions for a regular Xbox. Meh, video games suck these days anyway.
